Spot market electricity prices for Friday Oct. 23

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 164.37 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 398 Turkish liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest will be 247.17 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 5.9% to 164.37 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 311.60 liras and 313.64 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Thursday was set as 328.61 liras at 18.00 local time and the lowest at 224.78 at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.94 Turkish liras at 1117 GMT on Thursday.
