The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,078 Turkish liras at 08.00 (0500 GMT) and between 16.00 and 20.00 local time (1300-1700 GMT), while the lowest will be 474.52 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 9.3% to 458.8 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 827.32 liras and 826.88 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,078 liras between 06.00 and 10.00 (0300-0700 GMT) and between 15.00 and 20.00 local time (1200-1700 GMT), with the lowest at 495.11 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT).
