Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Nov. 27

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 205.9 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 566 Turkish liras at 17.00 and 18.00 local times, and the lowest will be 234.98 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 16.8% to 205.9 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 344.15 liras and 348.71 liras, respectively.


The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Thursday was set as 335.57 Turkish liras at 17.00 local time, and the lowest will be 217.87 liras at 04.00 local time.

US$1 equals 7.88 Turkish liras at 1130 GMT on Thursday.
