The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,131 Turkish liras at 08.00 local time (0500 GMT), 17.00 local time (1400 GMT) and 18.00 local time (1500 GMT), while the lowest will be 650 liras at 03.00 local time (0000 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed a decrease of 6.5% to 482 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 863.03 liras and 869.70 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,131 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500-0800 GMT) and between 14.00 and 21.00 local time (1100-1800 GMT), with the lowest at 673.03 liras at 03.00 and 04.00 local time (0000 and 0100 GMT).
