Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Nov. 12

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 502.94 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,131 Turkish liras at 08.00 (05.00 GMT) and between 16.00 and 22.00 (1300-1900 GMT), while the lowest will be 629.98 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 14.57% to 502.94 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 909.18 liras and 907.34 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Wednesday was set as 1,131 liras between 17.00 and 18.00 (1400-1500 GMT), and the lowest at 550.01 liras at 12.00 local time (0900 GMT).

US$1 equals 9.92 Turkish liras at 1111 GMT on Thursday.
