Spot market electricity prices for Friday, May 7

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 226.99 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 505.00 Turkish liras at 19.00 and the lowest will be 304.01 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an decrease of 3.65% to 226.99 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 380.96 liras and 380.22 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Thursday was set as 490 liras at 14.00 and 19.00, and the lowest at 341.67 liras at 06.00 local time.

US$1 equals 8.30 Turkish liras at 1123 GMT on Thursday.
