Spot market electricity prices for Friday, May 14

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 157.59 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 578 Turkish liras at 20.00 and 21.00 and the lowest will be 150.01 liras at 08.00 local time, according to official figures on Wednesday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 11.76% to 157.59 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 325.44 liras and 328.75 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Thursday was set as 373.77 liras at 20.00 and the lowest at 173.78 liras at 12.00 local time.

US$1 equals 8.50 Turkish liras at 1106 GMT on Thursday.
