The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,745 Turkish liras between 07.00 and 10.00 local time (0400 - 0700 GMT) and between 14.00 and 23.00 local time (1100 - 2000 GMT), while the lowest is determined as 1,499.99 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 7.8% to 826.2 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,696.30 liras and 1,703.96 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,745 liras between 08.00 and 10.00 local time (0500 - 0700 GMT) and between 14.00 and 22.00 local time (1100 - 1900 GMT), with the lowest at 932.50 liras at 01.00 local time (2200 GMT).
US$1 equals 14.13 liras at 1125 GMT on Thursday.
