The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 323.28 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest will be 100.01 liras at 07.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Thursday showed an increase of 5.6% to 102.5 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 232.70 liras and 237.68 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Thursday was set as 324.04 Turkish liras at 19.00 local time, and the lowest was 65 liras at 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.42 Turkish liras at 1116 GMT on Thursday.
