Spot market electricity prices for Friday, March 17

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 921.43 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,050 Turkish liras at 8 a.m and 9 a.m. (0500 and 0600 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest rate was set at 249.99 liras at 11 p.m. (2000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an decrease of 21.8% to 921.43 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,798.19 liras and 1,831.45 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set as 3,050 Turkish liras at 9 a.m and 7 p.m. (0500 and 1600 GMT), while the lowest rate was determined as 1,543.99 liras at 12 a.m. (2100 GMT), according to official figures.

US$1 equals 19 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
