Spot market electricity prices for Friday, March 13

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 1.59 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,299.99 Turkish liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.

The lowest rate was set at 350 liras at 13 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed a rise of 4.3% to around 1.59 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spotmarket are calculated at 2,387.38 liras and 2,391.78 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras at 8 p.m. local time (1700 GMT), while the lowest was set at 700 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 44.11 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
