Spot market electricity prices for Friday, March 11

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade amounts to 751.42 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Turkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 1,745 Turkish liras between 09.00 and 11.00 local time (0600 - 0800 GMT), between 15.00 and 16.00 local time (1200 - 1300 GMT), and between 18.00 and 21.00 local time (1500 - 1800 GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.

The lowest is determined as 861.01 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT), the figures show.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 4.50% to 751.42 million liras compared to Wednesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices of electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 1,548.40 liras and 1,583.04 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market for Thursday was set as 1,745 liras between 08.00 and 11.00 local time (0500 - 0800 GMT), with the lowest at 1,388 liras at 04.00 local time (0100 GMT).

US$1 equals 14.82 liras at 1120 GMT on Thursday.
