Spot market electricity prices for Friday, June 18

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 208.8 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 444.90 Turkish liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest will be 299.13 liras at 03.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 1.82% to 208.8 million liras compared to Tuesday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 380.86 liras and 382.90 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 464.99 liras at 20.00 local time and the lowest at 299.12 liras at 06.00 local time.

US$1 equals 8.64 Turkish liras at 1152 GMT on Thursday.
