The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 2,904.46 Turkish liras at 4.00 p.m. local time (1300GMT), according to official figures on Thursday.
The lowest rate is determined as 1,945 liras at 7.00 a.m. local time (0400 GMT), the figures showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an decrease of 13.8% to 1.39 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average electricity prices on the day-ahead spot market are calculated as 2,617.40 liras and 2.596.38 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour for Wednesday was set 3,750 liras between 9.00 and 11.00 a.m., and between 2.00 and 4.00 p.m. local times (0600-0800 GMT and 1100-1300 GMT) while the lowest rate is determined as 2,199.99 liras at 3.00 a.m. and 6.00 a.m. local times (0000 and 0300 GMT), according to the official figures.
US$1 equals 17.93 liras at 02.30 p.m. local time (1130 GMT) on Thursday.
