The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 617 Turkish liras between 20.00 and 23.00 local time while the lowest will be 345.45 liras at 09.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Thursday's electricity market showed an increase of 7.4% to 223.7 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 432.49 liras and 432.10 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was 617 Turkish liras at 00.00 and 21.00 local time while the lowest will be 268 liras at 16.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.55 Turkish liras at 1117 GMT on Thursday.
