The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour in Turkey's day-ahead spot market for Thursday will be 617 Turkish liras at between 08.00-23.00 local times while the lowest will be 368.12 liras at 06.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume on Wednesday's electricity market showed an increase of 12.5% to 326.5 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity on the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 547.44 liras and 549.07 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price for one megawatt-hour on the day-ahead spot market on Wednesday was set as 617 Turkish liras at 20.00, 21.00 and 22.00 local times while the lowest was 356.33 liras at 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 8.59 Turkish liras at 1130 GMT on Thursday.
