The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500-1600 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,700.01 liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 3.8% to around 2.13 billion liras compared to Thursday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,194.15 liras and 3,209.62 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400.00 liras between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. local time (0500-1600 GMT), while the lowest was at 2,333.03 liras at 5 a.m. local time (0200 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 43.30 liras at 2.15 p.m. local time (1115 GMT) on Thursday.
