Spot market electricity prices for Friday, Jan. 19

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows trade volume as 83.58 million Turkish liras for electricity market

The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 217.59 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest will be 160 liras at 04.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.

Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume in Friday's electricity market decreased by 6.7 percent to 83.58 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market on Friday is calculated as 192.86 liras and 194.87 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour for Thursday was 216.66 Turkish liras at 09.00 local time, the lowest was 118.69 liras at 03.00 local time.

US$1 equals 3.82 liras, according to Turkey's Central Bank data.
