The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400.00 Turkish liras at between 8 a.m. and 11 a.m., between 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. local time (0500-0800, 1100-1600, 1800 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,499.99 Turkish liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 1.94% to around 2.16 billion Turkish liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,165.29 Turkish liras and 3,197.63 Turkish liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 3,400.00 Turkish liras at between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m., 2 p.m. and between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. local time (0400-0800, 1100, 1300-1500 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,299.99 Turkish liras at 3 a.m. local time (0000 GMT), the data showed.
