The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,400 Turkish liras at 12 a.m., 1 a.m., 8 a.m. and between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. (2100, 2200, 0500, and 1300-2000 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.
The lowest rate was set at 2,010.01 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.
The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Thursday's electricity market shows an increase of 5.5% to around 2.45 billion liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,231.58 and 3,223.01 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Thursday was set at 3,400 liras between 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. (1400-1900 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,248 liras at 12 p.m. local time (0900 GMT), the data showed.
US$1 equals 40.94 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
