Spot market electricity prices for Friday, April 3

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 410.83 million Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 3,000.01 Turkish liras at 7 p.m. and 8 p.m. local time (1600 and 1700 GMT), according to official figures released Thursday.

The lowest rate is set at 167.38 liras at 1 p.m. local time (1000 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for Friday's electricity market trade volume showed an increase of 1.1% to around 410.83 million liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 693.35 liras and 848.74 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt-hour for Thursday was set at 2,450 liras at 7 p.m. local time (1600 GMT), while the lowest was set at 199.99 liras at 4 a.m. local time (0100 GMT), the data showed.

US$1 equals 44.50 liras at 2 p.m. local time (1100 GMT) on Thursday.
