International benchmark Brent crude traded at $72.56 per barrel at 11.23 GMT on Friday while American benchmark West Texas Intermediate (WTI) saw prices of $68.03 per barrel.
Brent crude traded at $74.97 per barrel at 08.57 GMT on Monday while American benchmark WTI saw prices of $69.37 per barrel.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and participating non-OPEC producing countries achieved a conformity level of 121 percent in June 2018, OPEC said in a statement late on Wednesday.
The OPEC agreed to continue closely monitoring oil market conditions and developments with a view to improve market stability for the benefit of producers, consumers and the global economy at large.
The U.S.' crude oil inventories showed an increase last week despite market expectations of a decline, the country's Energy Information Administration (EIA) announced Wednesday.
Commercial crude oil stocks rose by 5.8 million barrels, or 1.4 percent, to reach 411.1 million barrels for the week ending July 13, the EIA said.
The market expectation for the stocks was a decline of 3.6 million barrels. During the previous week, stocks fell by 12.6 million barrels.
