Spot market electricity prices for Saturday, July 26

- Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data shows electricity market trade volume amounts to 2.22 billion Turkish liras

The highest electricity price rate for one megawatt-hour on Türkiye's day-ahead spot market for Saturday will be 3,400 Turkish liras between 6 p.m. and 12 a.m. local time (1500-2100 GMT), according to official figures released Friday.

The lowest rate was set at 2,274.99 liras at 3 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the data showed.

The Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the trade volume for Friday's electricity market shows a decrease of 4.7% to around 2.22 billion liras compared to Thursday.

The arithmetical and weighted average prices for electricity on the day-ahead spot market are calculated at 3,109.70 liras and 3,106.13 liras, respectively.

The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one megawatt hour for Friday was set at 3,400 liras at 5 p.m., 8 p.m., and 9 p.m. local time (1400, 1700, 1800 GMT), while the lowest was set at 2,150 liras at 6 a.m. local time (0300 GMT).

US$1 equals 40.55 liras at 2.20 p.m. local time (1120 GMT) on Friday.
