Hourly power consumption peaked at 20.00 local time with 32,148 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 23,106 megawatt-hours at 07.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 690,632 megawatt-hours on Thursday with a 2.33% increase compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity plants at 185,939 megawatt-hours. Run-of-river and imported coal plants followed with 132,732 megawatt-hours and 132,699 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Thursday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 3,289 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 7,638 megawatt-hours.
