Hourly power consumption peaked at 21.00 local time with 32,853 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 24,115 megawatt-hours at 07.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 678,720 megawatt-hours on Saturday with a 2.32% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from imported coal plants at 158,632 megawatt-hours. Hydroelectricity plants and lignite plants followed 153,753 megawatt-hours and 110,352 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Saturday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 1,764 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 15,009 megawatt-hours.
