Hourly power consumption peaked at 20.00 local time with 28,425 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 18,692 megawatt-hours at 08.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 556,113 megawatt-hours on Saturday with a 1.53% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity plants at 145,250 megawatt-hours. Run-of-river and imported coal plants followed with 117,628 megawatt-hours and 103,358 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Saturday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 1,604 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 9,039 megawatt-hours.
