Hourly power consumption peaked at 21.00 local time with 29,407 megawatt-hours, data from TEIAS showed. The country's electricity usage dropped to its lowest level of 19,869 megawatt-hours at 08.00 local time.
Total electricity production reached 571,923 megawatt-hours on Saturday with a 13.4% decrease compared to the previous day.
The majority of the output came from hydroelectricity plants at 201,006 megawatt-hours. Run-of-river and imported coal plants followed with 105,236 megawatt-hours and 86,517 megawatt-hours, respectively.
On Saturday, Turkey's electricity exports amounted to 7,175 megawatt-hours, while imports totaled 5,650 megawatt-hours.
