The highest electricity rate for one-megawatt hour in the day-ahead spot market for Friday will be 330.40 Turkish liras at 20.00, and the lowest will be 164.5 liras at 12.00 local time, according to official figures on Thursday.
Turkey's Energy Exchange Istanbul (EXIST) data for the electricity market's trade volume on Thursday showed an increase of 14.5% to 90.05 million liras compared to Wednesday.
The arithmetical and weighted average price of electricity for the day-ahead spot market is calculated as 224.16 liras and 224.6 liras, respectively.
The highest electricity price on the day-ahead spot market for one-megawatt hour on Thursday will be 327.45 liras at 20.00, and the lowest was at 14.04 liras at 07.00 local time.
US$1 equals 6.92 Turkish liras at 1139 GMT on Thursday.
