Pure London, the U.K.'s leading fashion trade event has opened its doors to visitors in London with more than 1,300 exhibitors including Turkish fashion companies.

The event dedicated to fashion sourcing and manufacturing is being held at the Olympia London, an exhibition centre located in west of the British capital.

Womenswear, menswear and kids wear collections are exhibited in the fair.

"Our collection mainly consists of leather footwear for men and women," Bahadir Cam, the owner of one of the Turkish firms, Callizio, said.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Cam said they "also produce leather belts, wallets and bags that can be combined with them [other products]."

"We offer Turkish products to the U.K. market. We are working to increase our exports in a world where competition is increasing and there are trade wars," the Turkish businessman said.

He said they will also join Fashion UK, another fashion trade event, which is due in Birmingham next week.

Also, joining the fair with her women's clothing brand Zell, Zelal Kocakelci Ogun said the feedback they have received is "very positive."

"Our brand draws great attention because it is very close to the European style," he said.

Ogun said Zell is a brand which is accepted by fashion shows in all seasons.

The Pure London is a fashion event that brings thousands of visitors with fashion collections, garments and fabric suppliers. It is open to visitors free of charge until Feb. 12.
