MOSCOW
Russia's National Welfare Fund reserves fell 0.15% on a monthly basis in July to 13.08 trillion rubles (around $163.1 billion), the Russian Finance Ministry said Wednesday.
The statement also noted that the ratio of reserves to gross domestic product (GDP) stood at 5.9%.
The country's National Welfare Fund holds assets denominated in gold and Chinese yuan.
Russia in 2021 zeroed out its dollar assets in the National Welfare Fund, its pound and yen assets in 2022, and its euro assets in January 2024.
