Seasonally adjusted industrial production increased by 0.4% in both the euro area and the EU in February compared to the previous month.
On an annual basis, industrial production decreased by 0.6% in the euro area and by 0.1% in the EU in February compared with the same month of the previous year, Eurostat stated on Wednesday.
Ireland had the highest monthly increase among member states, at 5.7%, followed by Finland at 3.3% and Sweden at 3.2%.
Malta observed the largest decrease at 6%, while Luxembourg and Greece saw drops of 4.6% and 2.1%, respectively.
