Uzbekistan’s consul general meets Turkish agency’s news editor in Istanbul
A senior Uzbek diplomat visited Anadolu Agency’s (AA) office in Istanbul on Tuesday.
Amirsaid Agzamhodcaev, Uzbekistan’s consul general in Istanbul, met Cemal Coskun, the agency’s news editor in Istanbul.
The duo discussed ways to improve Uzbek-Turkish relations and strengthen cooperation in the media domain.
Praising AA for its swift flow of accurate news stories, Agzamhodcaev expressed Uzbekistan’s willingness to collaborate with the Turkish agency.
“We wish to cooperate with [Anadolu Agency] during our presidential elections in October as well,” he said.
Coskun presented the agency’s 2020 almanac to Agzamhodcaev, who gave the Anadolu Agency official a book on Uzbekistan’s President Shavkat Mirziyovev and various booklets and magazines on the country’s history and culture.
