Turkey’s global news outlet Anadolu Agency on Thursday signed cooperation deals with Austrian, Slovakian, and Portuguese news agencies.
Represented by Chairman of the Board and Director General Serdar Karagoz, Anadolu Agency signed agreements with Austrian Press Agency (APA), News Agency of Slovak Republic (TASR) and Lusa News Agency of Portugal.

APA was represented by CEO Clemens Pig, TASR was represented by Director General Vladimir Puchala, and LUSA was represented by Marketing Director Monica Garcia at ceremonies held as part of the European Alliance of News Agencies (EANA) Conference in the Austrian capital Vienna.
As part of the deal among Anadolu Agency, the TASR, and LUSA, three media outlets will share photos and videos as well as news published in English.

The deal signed between Anadolu Agency and APA will allow news sharing in English, German, and Turkish between the two agencies.
Various issues, such as diversity and the role of women in news agencies, will be discussed at the EANA Conference hosted by the APA on the occasion of its 75th anniversary.
Director General Karagoz will attend EANA's General Assembly meeting on Friday.
