Anadolu Agency receives 'The Best Of Azerbaijan' award
Award given for news agency's contributions to Turkey-Azerbaijan relations in media sector
Turkey’s premier news organization, Anadolu Agency, received "The Best Of Azerbaijan" award Monday for its contributions to Turkey-Azerbaijan relations in the media sector.
The award was presented in the capital of Baku at a ceremony organized by E Medya Grup, a media group of companies in Azerbaijan.
Anadolu Agency's correspondent in Baku, Ruslan Rehimov, received the award for carrying out beneficial activities for the country, as well as successfully introducing Azerbaijan to the world through the media.
Politicians, media representatives and business leaders attended the ceremony.
Founded in 1920, Anadolu Agency currently produces news in 13 languages and serves to 6,000 subscribers in 93 countries. The Agency has at least 3,000 employees, stationed in 100 countries.
Headquartered in Ankara, Anadolu Agency publishes an average of 1,600 stories daily, 2,300 photographs, six infographics, and 400 videos, and airs 15 live broadcasts.
