US Sen. Bernie Sanders on Tuesday slammed Israeli military and occupier actions in the West Bank and renewed his call to end US military assistance to Israel.
"It's not just Gaza, Iran and Lebanon," he said on the US social media company X’s platform.
Sanders said that since October 2023, Israeli soldiers and occupiers have killed 1,071 Palestinians, demolished more than 6,000 homes and built over 200 illegal outposts in the West Bank.
"No more U.S. military aid to Israel," he added.
Last week, the Senate rejected two resolutions introduced by Sanders to block nearly $500 million in arms sales to Israel.
The US has long been criticized for providing support to Israel in its war in the Gaza Strip, where more than 72,000 people, mostly women and children, have been killed since Oct. 7, 2023. A ceasefire was reached in October 2025, but violations have been frequent.
Several American lawmakers have demanded the US government to stop supplying weapons to Israel and accused it of being complicit in Israel's war in Gaza.
