(ECO) DAILY ECONOMIC INDICATORS
ANKARA - Turkish lira slightly weakened against U.S. dollar on Wednesday as one U.S. dollar traded at 1.5380.
     Istanbul Stock Exchange (IMKB) main index dropped 0.39 percent. IMKB National 100 Index was down by 206.96 points and closed at 52,753.00.
     A total of 38 kg of gold was sold in the first and second sessions at the Istanbul Gold Exchange (IAB).
     International credit rating agency Fitch said possible political uncertainty could have an impact on Turkey's credit rating upgrade.
     Turkish Statistical Institute (TurkStat) announced that quarterly industrial employment index decreased by 6.8 percent in the fourth quarter of 2009 (October-November-December) over the same quarter of the previous year and by 0.1 percent over to the previous period.
