(DIP) TURKISH CHIEF NEGOTIATOR MEETS MEMBER OF EU REFLECTION GROUP IN ISTANBUL
ISTANBUL - Turkish State Minister and chief negotiator for EU talks Egemen Bagis met with Kalypso Nicolaidis, a member of EU Reflection Group, in Istanbul on Friday.
     Bagis will deliver a speech at a panel discussion titled "Project Europe-Turkey 2030: Reflections on Relations" at Bahcesehir University in Istanbul.
     An independent Reflection Group was established under the Conclusions of the European Council, with the objective of assisting the European Union more effectively anticipate and meet challenges in the longer term horizon of 2020 to 2030. The group is chaired by Felipe Gonzales and has in all 12 members. It started its work in December 2008 and presented its Report "Project Europe 2030" to the European Council on May 8th 2010.
