BANDA ACEH (AA) - August 16, 2012 - Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) looks after 5,000 orphans who were left an orphan due to tsunami disaster in 2004.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA) correspondent on Thursday, OIC representative in Banda Aceh, Mustafa Sabri Yavuz said that they were arranging social programs every weekend for the orphans.
Noting that they aimed to look after 25,000 orphans, Yavuz said "at the moment the number is 5,000. We put 24 USD into their account every week for their monthly needs. We use rest of the money for their health, education and other social issues".
