The royal palace of Monaco released details on Sunday of the celebration ceremony to welcome their first twins, who are expected to be born within the next month.

According to the royal palace of Monaco's official social media account, Princess Charlene and Prince Albert will celebrate their twins' birth with the people of Monaco through "forty-two cannon shots (twenty-one for each child) from the Fort Antoine.”

After the birth, church bells will ring for fifteen minutes, followed by boat horns.

A proclamation signed by Prince Albert will also be displayed at the entrance outside the Petits Quartiers of the Princely Palace, where the people of Monaco can also express their congratulations.

The palace also announced that the birth day will be declared public holiday for all individuals working in Monaco “in celebration of this time of great joy.”

Former professional Olympic swimmer Charlene Wittstock became the Princess of Monaco after she married Prince Albert II in 2011.
