Football: BVB's midfielder Gundogan extends contract
Borussia Dortmund's 23-year-old central midfielder Ilkay Gundogan signs new deal with his club which may keep him in Dortmund until 2016.

BERLIN
Borussia Dortmund's 23-year-old Turkish-German central midfielder Ilkay Gundogan extended his contract with his club until 2016 on Tuesday.
According to the Borussia Dortmund's official website, Ilkay Gundogan's contract will run until June 30, 2016. German club's Sport Manager, Michael Zorc said that they were very happy to make a new deal with the 23-year-old midfielder and he was sure that Ilkay will reflect his potential on the pitch next season.
Ilkay Gundogan, who has been capped for Germany eight times and has played in 14 UEFA Champions League matches for "Die Schwarzgelben" (The Black and Yellows) so far, thanked his club Dortmund for the opportunity of being part of such a high quality team.
