Football: Fenerbahce close to their 19th title
In matchday 29 of Turkish Spor Toto Super League leaders Fenerbahce are getting closer to their 19th title with five games to spare.

Matchday 29 in Turkish Spor Toto Super League ended Monday night with league leaders Fenerbahce getting closer to their 19th title with five games to spare.
League leaders Fenerbahce defeated Medical Park Antalyaspor 4-1 in Istanbul on Sunday. Fenerbahce, "Yellow Canaries", cruised past their opponents, MP Antalyaspor thanks to the goals scored by their Turkish left-back Caner Erkin, Czech defender Michal Kadlec finding the net twice, and Senegalese forward Moussa Sow who scored the fourth goal for Fenerbahce. The single goal of MP Antalyaspor came from Nigerian wing forward Isaac Promise.
Current runners-up Besiktas received a shocking draw against Torku Konyaspor in an away match on Friday, however, the "Black Eagles" managed to open the deadlock in the 69th minute of play. Besiktas' Turkish-Dutch midfielder Oguzhan Ozyakup's goal was insufficient for the win since the home team Torku Konyaspor equalised after their experienced Greek forward Theofanis Gekas scored a controversial goal in injury time in the second half.
Galatasaray, who are currently third in the standings, upset their fans by losing against Sivasspor 2-1 in an away game on Saturday. Home team Sivasspor scored the opening goal of the match with their Moroccan-French wing forward Aatif Chahechouhe in the first half. Galatasaray's Turkish central midfielder Yekta Kurtulus scored the equaliser through the end of the first half but Sivasspor took the lead again when their central forward John Utaka found the net. The match in Sivas ended 2-1 in favour of the home team.
