Turkey's Science, Industry and Technology Minister Nihat Ergun on Friday said that the New Incentive System would make it possible for MAN company to take steps in making new investments on trucks and engines in Turkey.
Ergun on Friday attended the inauguration ceremony of a new facility of MAN in Ankara's Akyurt town that was made possible with an investment of 15 million euros.

We have adopted crucial laws and began extending support to research and development. During this process, MAN also established a research and development center, Ergun stated.
Turkey will take important steps in the automotive sector. Turkey produces 1.2 million vehicles every year. By 2023, we intend to produce 4 million vehicles in Turkey every year, Ergun underlined.
MAN and Volkswagen should have an important role in the production of 4 million vehicles, Ergun noted.
With the New Incentive System, we expect Volkswagen to make a new investment in Turkey for an automobile, Ergun also said.
