Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that the Turkish language has always been one of peace.
Erdogan delivered the closing remarks of the 10th Turkish Language Olympics at Istanbul's Turk Telekom Arena on Thursday.
We welcomed the youth and children of 135 friendly and brotherly countries who love the Turkish language, Erdogan stated.
Turkish language has always been a language of peace, Erdogan stressed.
"Turkish language has always been the language of love. This language has been one of solidarity, brotherhood and sharing. This language has never been the language of exploitation, abuse or cultural pressure. Turkish language has always been a language of tolerance, dialogue, reconciliation, and one of heart," Erdogan stressed.
The 10th Turkish Language Olympics took place under the slogan "humanity hand in hand for a feast". We are thankful to the youth and children of the five continents for letting us live a feast, Erdogan also said.
