Turkey's president said on Tuesday that Turkey was determined to eradicate terrorism.
President Abdullah Gul condemned the terrorist attack on Yesiltas military outpost in Daglica region of the southeastern province of Hakkari, and said the terrorist organization continued its inhumane bloody attacks to sabotage atmosphere of confidence and stability when efforts were underway to boost social peace and solve problems.
"Turkey is determined to solve this terrorism problem without making concessions of the country's integrity, state authority and rule of law," Gul said.
Gul's remarks came after terrorists killed eight soldiers and wounded 16 others in Daglica.
President Gul also said Turkey would go on countering terrorism by mobilizing all its possibilities.
