LOS CABOS

Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said military operations will continue unless PKK terrorists lay down their arms, adding that the government will never bargain in the face of the terrorist attacks.
"There is only one thing to do for terrorists which is to lay down their arms. If that happens security forces would see no need for military operations," Erdogan told reporters in Los Cabos, Mexico, where he participates in a summit meeting of the Group of 20.
Erdogan's remarks follows a PKK attack earlier today on a military outpost southeast Turkey which killed eight soldiers and wounded 16 others.

Head of Kurdish regional administration condemns the attack

On the other hand, Head of the Kurdish regional administration in Iraq's north, Massoud Barzani, condemned an attack by PKK terrorists on a military outpost in Turkey's southeast which killed 8 troops and wounded 16 others.
Barzani said in a message that he "strongly condemned" the attack, adding that "attacks and clashes hurt all sides and exclude peaceful efforts."
