Turkish president officially reopens renovated building
BRUSSELS
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan inaugurated Turkey’s newly renovated embassy in Brussels on Tuesday.
Erdogan said Turkish nationals living in the Belgian capital would be offered better services thanks to the restoration of both the embassy and the consulate general.
The inauguration was attended by dignitaries including EU Minister Beril Dedeoglu, Foreign Minister Feridun Sinirlioglu and Belgian Deputy Prime Minister Didier Reynders.
Later Tuesday, Erdogan is expected to launch the Europalis cultural arts festival at which Turkey is this year’s guest country.
