AA aims to broadcast Arab world's news objectively

CASABLANCA (AA) – June 19, 2012 - Anadolu Agency's (AA) Executive Board president and director general said on Tuesday that AA aimed to broadcast Arab world's news objectively.

Kemal Ozturk said that AA's aim was to reflect the incidents happening in the Arab world, and the identity and culture of regional people independently from the western media.
"AA also aims to make stories about incidents in the Arab world objectively, differently and fast, and in a way that it reflects identity and culture of regional people," Ozturk said as he met representatives of leading Moroccan press organs in Casablanca.
Ozturk said his visit to Arab countries targeted at boosting relations between Turkey and Arab world, adding that AA would open an office in Morocco to establish a bridge of communication between Morocco and Turkey.
AA Director General Kemal Ozturk and Turan Kislakci, the editor-in-chief of AA's Arabic News Desk, will discuss cooperation opportunities with Moroccan executives during their two-day stay in this country.
Ozturk visited Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Kuwait at the beginning of May to promote AA's broadcasting in Arabic.
