Luxembourg's honorary consulate general in the southern province of Antalya was inaugurated on Wednesday.

Luxembourg's honorary consulate general in Antalya inaugurated

The ceremony for the inauguration of the honorary consulate general took place at the Club Arma Restaurant in Kaleici Yacht port.
Speaking at the ceremony, Deputy Undersecretary of the Turkish Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Kemal Fahir Genc stated that they expected a high number of tourists from Luxembourg to visit Antalya.
"We do hope that many individuals from Luxembourg would choose Antalya to stay," Genc also said.
Also speaking at the ceremony, Luxembourg's Ambassador in Ankara, Arlette Conzemius said that their honorary consulate general in Antalya was the third one in Turkey after Istanbul and Izmir.
"Antalya and its region is an important destination for Luxembourg. In recent years, direct flights from Luxembourg to Antalya began, bringing more tourists from Luxembourg," Conzemius said.
Honorary Consul General of Luxembourg in Antalya, Halit Bozabali underlined that Luxembourg was one of the six countries which established the EU and that Luxembourg was also a founding member of NATO.
