A tent city for 10,000 people would be erected in Akcakale town of the south-eastern province of Sanliurfa for Syrians fleeing clashes in their country.
Speaking to reporters, the Branch Manager of Turkey's Red Crescent Aid Society, Ahmet Meshurgil, said Tuesday that they were working on the infrastructure for the tent city.
The Ceylanpinar town of Sanliurfa already has a tent city for 20,000 people.
Turkey is home to more than 33,000 Syrians who have fled clashes.
