Warriors' all-star playmaker guard Stephen Curry selected as the Most Valuable Player for the first time in his career.

NBA team Golden State Warriors' all-star playmaker guard Stephen Curry has been picked as the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the regular season for the first time in his career.
NBA.com said on Monday that 27-year-old Curry, who averaged 23.8 points and 7.7 assists in 80 games, won the MVP award of the 2014-15 regular season.
The team's key player, Curry made a significant contribution to the Golden State Warriors to make them complete the regular season as leaders with 67 wins - a new club record.
Additionally, the Warriors star set a new record for himself by hitting 286 three-point shots this season. He also played with a 91.4 percent free-throw average.
Curry topped the polls after receiving the highest number of votes with 1,198 points.
Houston Rockets' James Harden followed him with 936 points and Cleveland Cavaliers’ star LeBron James came in third with 552.
